OBAGI (BLUE PEEL)
The Obagi Blue Peel helps rejuvenate your skin.
The Obagi plan is a sequential skin care program which helps reduce
age spots, hyper pigmentation, diminish fine lines and wrinkles (improves
elasticity), increases your skin's natural moisture, allow your skin
to produce new collagen, reduce pore size and create a smooth, even
tone of your skin.
Preparing your skin for the Obagi Blue Peel is done by using the Nu-derm
products for about 6 weeks prior to your peel. During this time, you
may experience redness, burning, and peeling of your skin. These symptoms
are closely monitored and will diminish.
The actual peel takes about 30 minutes and one may experience severe
pain for about 5 minutes during the peel process. Expect a blue tint
upon completion of the peel. The coloring will fade after about 2 to
3 days. In most cases patients resume normal activity within 3 to 5
days. Please have transportation available at the time of the peel.
Following your peel, you will be placed on a comfort kit skin care
line to ensure proper healing and results of your peel. In most cases,
depending upon your skin type and expectations this 30-minute peel will
give great results.
