Surgery
The Breast Augmentation surgery
is an outpatient surgery usually done at Providence Surgery Center.
The surgery generally takes about 1 ½ hours and patients can
go home after the procedure. Dr. Harlan uses several different types
of saline filled implants and he inserts them under the muscle. A small
incision is placed in the inframammary fold and is not visible in most
cases.
Post Operative
You can expect to have severe pain
for up to 5 days following the procedure. You must have a driver with
you as you will not be able to drive following this procedure. You will
need to have someone with you for the first 48 hours to help you with
everything. No aerobic exercise for a minimum of 3 months following
the surgery to ensure proper positioning of the implants.

the surgery, and pain medications will be prescribed as needed.
You will have a dressing-packed bra on upon completion of the surgery.
Some risks and complications are… bleeding, infection, swelling, and
scarring.
